About Me

I am an analytically-minded Geospatial Data Scientist with over 8 years of international experience specializing in Topographic Information Management and Remote Sensing. Currently supporting the TIM-NRW system for the Cologne District Government, I focus on ensuring high-precision data quality and optimizing geospatial workflows. My background spans academic research with the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and large-scale industrial projects, including mapping Africa's largest wind park and the Standard Gauge Railway.

I specialize in:

  • Extracting actionable insights from satellite imagery and LIDAR data to support climate monitoring and infrastructure development.
  • Building automated workflows using Python (NumPy, Pandas, GeoPandas) and cloud-based analysis via Google Earth Engine.
  • Applying GeoAI and Machine Learning for land-use classification and environmental risk assessment.

I am passionate about bridging the gap between raw spatial data and strategic decision-making in land-use planning and environmental protection.
